Presidential Candidates Debate Fiscal Issues

The Peter G. Peterson Foundation is the official broadcast sponsor of the Bloomberg/Washington Post Republican Presidential Debate — a debate focused on the American economy. As a nonpartisan foundation, we are working to engage people across the political spectrum and around the country to ensure that addressing our nation’s economic and fiscal challenges is a top priority for the next president and all elected officials. Tonight’s debate is the first of many initiatives we will undertake to provide opportunities for Americans to learn about how the nation’s leaders and potential leaders plan to strengthen the economy today while putting America on a more sustainable fiscal path.
