Peterson foundation holds fiscal cliff forum today — brings together lawmakers and policy experts to discuss solutions to nation's long-term fiscal challenges.

“NYC Small Biz: Open + Online,” a new initiative to help small businesses to participate in the growing digital economy, was launched today by the NYC Small Business Resource Network (SBRN), a unique public-private partnership among the New York City Economic Development Corporation, the Peter G. Peterson Foundation, the five borough Chambers of Commerce, NYC Department of Small Business Services and the Partnership for New York City.
The projects, which address problems ranging from mental health to food security to the impact on K-12 education, will receive $643,029 in research support from a new Peterson Foundation fund.
The Foundation is developing a growing program of initiatives and grants aimed at fostering improvements in the U.S. healthcare system, which Jeffrey D. Selberg, MHA, will shape and oversee.
As the nation shifts its attention from the election to the major challenge posed by the upcoming Fiscal Cliff, some of the country's most influential voices on fiscal and economic issues will come together at a forum convened by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.
