New report from the Henry L. Stimson Center: Strategic Agility Assessment

A new report from the Stimson Center compares the policies proposed in the President’s Fiscal Year 2015 budget proposal to the 27 specific defense recommendations put forth last year by the Defense Advisory Committee (DAC). The report finds that the President's proposal fully incorporates 12 of the DAC's 27 recommendations and partially incorporates another nine.

The recommendations of the 17-member DAC (a panel of former high-ranking military officers, former national security policymakers, and distinguished academics) were originally published in a report titled Strategic Agility. The work was supported by a grant from the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.

The Stimson Center published its new report this morning, which can be downloaded here and read below. For more information about the Stimson Center’s work, click here.
