Building on work that began with the Foundation's Solutions Initiative last year, experts from the American Action Forum, the Bipartisan Policy Center, the Center for American Progress, the Economic Policy Institute and The Heritage Foundation have each composed specific plans to set the country on a more sustainable fiscal path, and set out their top priorities for the President and Congress.
As President Obama and Congress confront the nation's fiscal outlook and other top priorities, the Peter G. Peterson Foundation is convening its fourth annual Fiscal Summit.
“It’s critical that budget proposals fully address the structural drivers of our debt in order to stabilize it over the long run," said Michael A. Peterson, CEO of the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.

On Wednesday, May 25, 2011, senior Administration officials, policy experts and Democratic and Republican elected leaders will come together in Washington to discuss solutions to the nation’s fiscal challenges at the 2011 Fiscal Summit: Solutions for America’s Future, convened by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.
Projects to address testing, schooling mode impacts, misinformation and vaccine passports will receive $226,536 in research support from Peterson Foundation fund.
